Dr. Marjan Madison has been in private practice in psychology since 1998. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at UCLA and then earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She is licensed to practice as a psychologist in the state of California.

Dr. Madison’s training has been quite extensive and spanned a variety of settings. She completed internships at the Los Angeles Police Department as well as The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA. She was the chief Dual-Diagnosis therapist at Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Clinic where she oversaw the Dual Diagnosis program. She served as a board member for the Los Angeles Psychological Association and has been very active with the community at large. Her recent training has focused on couple’s therapy and the treatment of sexual difficulties.

Dr. Madison is exceedingly passionate about her work as a clinical psychologist. Her naturally warm and peaceful energy encourages her clients to feel safe and develop a trusting bond with her. At the same time, her direct and honest approach inspires her clients to take risks and stretch themselves emotionally. She combines her knowledge of therapeutic theory and cutting-edge research with her inherent attunement with people to tailor the therapy to fit each client. She is especially skilled at dealing with a variety of relationship issues, including romantic, parent-child, and workplace relationships.
